This course, designed by architect Pete Dye, certainly doesn’t stray from his reputation of building memorable and challenging courses. The semi-private course is filled with pitfalls for wayward shots, native grass and exceptional elevations. Bordering the white sands of the Carolina Bays is what makes this course a great pick for your golf vacation in Myrtle Beach.
Tuff course And there was no food at the turn or the court girls didn’t have anything on any of the Barefoot courses they had some chips and some pretzels and drinks that’s it I need a little bit more food but other than that fantastic
Course looked unkept, waste bunkers were full of rocks. Seemed like the course doesn’t want to maintain the bunkers so they just call them waste bunkers. The greens were in good shape and rolling well.
Dye club is always great.
The staff was very friendly at the Dye but seemed under staffed.
tooo many sand bunkers . GREAT greens
Tough course. The GPS in the cart helps to see the layout ahead. Would be nice to have a short "hints" on each hole on strategy on how best to play it and trouble to avoid.
