Tom Fazio brings his design expertise to a rolling parcel of land at the heart of Barefoot Resort. Golfweek Architecture Editor Brad Klein states that Fazio has “perfected a certain formula for creating overwhelming, lovely holes that are meticulously manicured and pleasant to play.” Living up to such acclaim, Fazio’s Barefoot Resort Course is certain to attract more national acclaim. Off the tees, players will be greeted with stunning visuals and 18 distinct holes that will all be remembered after your round. You will find the par 71 course to be fairly wide open with a good amount of sand in sight. The fairways are undulating. Since there is no turn after 9, make sure to stop the cart attendant for your beverage and food needs as you negotiate the course.
Great golf course. Really nice condition and very good greens. Lots of sand, not for the faint of heart but fair if you play the proper tees.
ok, not our favorite
Great experience. Busy course but they were great about letting us play as a group.
Another great course. Greens diff than we were used to and grain came into play.
Course was in good condition, but again there was no cart person or water coolers on the course in 90* + heat with high humidity. Clubhouse also closed mid afternoon which was weird…
Course was in good shape
Not as well manicured as the other Barefoot courses
Upon arrival we were told Fazio greens were just punched. Pro shop was upfront and offered us to play the Love course instead, which was in good condition.
The staff was very friendly at the Fazzio, Norman and Love courses.
Fair and fun !!!
Started off thinking the course wasn’t maintained very well, but it turned out I be nice.
Nice layout great condition
One of the prettier courses but can play long from the back tees. Swallow your pride and move up - it will be much more fun.
Very playable!
excellent conditions
Needs some attention onto the grounds. Rough and greens both is bad shape
How many sand obstacles are enough? Too many. Everything else a 5.
Most scenic and a good challenge
Great course!
Course was in decent shape
tough course, plenty of bunkers
Not my favorite barefoot course - should include more than one bucket of range balls…
Usual reliable conditions
Not in great shape right now
little but brutal, tons of sand
Good value
my favorite Barefoot course
best course of the trip by far outstanding
9 in the rain. Loved it. Came back and played 18 at the Love course.
Lots of bunkers but less developed than other resort courses so felt more like home. Great track to play.
Good fun but severe bunkering can present many challenges.
Nice course - would be better in summer when Bermuda is growing - off the fairways was spotty in terms of grass.
Pretty much the same but too much sand.
Hardest course out of the four
It rained never made this course
Shows lots of wear and tear from activity lots of leaves
Rain out
Never played
Very nice course pace of play was great course conditions very soggy
5 hour plus round no rangers in site that was a big negative we will not play barefoot again except for Dye course
Great course with no homes. Really enjoyed playing here.
Awesome course
i liked this course best of all. you could get lost in the deep sand traps. had my best round of the trip
Nice course, perhaps a cut below Love and Dye. I found it challenging but open to good scoring
Very challenging, but very nice. Cart path only was a bit rough for my partner but nice course
Be prepared for the rough…. And the moon sized bunkers
Great finish to a great week.
Great track, great condition
Good layout
Slow play over 5 hours.
I didn’t play the Fazio course because we got rained out that day. I do have a rain check to come back and play this course.
Great Course loved the ending hole
Greens were pristine, but not much else. Tough course. We didn't enjoy the experience.
Lots of bunkers. Got us good. Lol
Nice course, some areas a little unkept
Awesome
lots of variety great greens
Too many traps to get in.
Awesome course and in great shape.
3.5
Amazing course. Loved playing it.
Beautiful course. Thanks for reserving your one tee time for us.
Excellent fair to average golfer
Wonderful course, well maintained, fairway and greens in great shape (seemed to be the most challenging of the 4 courses.
Greens were bad - bunker sand inconsistent
Did not get to play this course was crowded so I played love course twice
Greens were a bit disappointing.
No complaints. We will be back.
greens were in rough shape on some holes.
The greens were really bad but everything else was perfect.
Favorite course of the 3 on my trip. Never saw civilization after getting through the first few holes. Barefoot greens don’t have much grass on them (too much water from rain) but they rolled very true.
Greens in pretty rough shape
Very tough excellent course
Very nice coarse fun to play .
Beautiful Love the carts with GPS.
Nice course
Pace of play was bad. Almost 5 hours
Pace of play was not good. Almost 5 hours
Very nice but bring your sand wedge
Very nice course
EXCELLENT COURSE
very nice layout...slow greens
Great course. Awesome staff (Derrick).
like the course
Didnt play
Some of the greens were a little chewed up.
Great condition
Enjoyed the ruins!
My favorite at Barefoot.
Loved the course - 1st time to the Barefoot property - we will be back
Cart path only due to rain
Great course. Awesome golf carts, even better customer service. Great food in the club house.
Very nice layout. Would definitely play again. Local knowledge of the course is very helpful.
Loved this complex, and the Fazio course was quality.
An overall great layout, but as with most of the courses we played, green were very uneven. I do appreciate the clubhouse gave me a 2-year rain check to play the Love course in that I wasn't able to play that afternoon. I appreciate it.
Same as the Love course
Highly overrated. second time to play, but will strike it off the list. greens were spotty with black mold
Greens were top dressed
Nice
the course was in good shape, the greens were not. they had just been aerated and were horribly slow almost unplayable
Too much sand
Of the 4 it was #2. Better layout. more challenging
