The course
Tom Doak designed Heathland in 1990 as a faithful tribute to the links courses of the British Isles. Open ground, wind, and rolling greens do the defending here.
Heathland strips golf back to its links roots. Trees are kept to a bare minimum, several fairways run parallel to one another, and undulating greens ask real questions on every approach. A handful of blind shots from the fairway adds to the fun, rewarding golfers who learn the course and come back for another crack at it.
The scorecard stretches to 6853 yards from the championship tees with a 72.7 rating and a stout 141 slope. The men's tees play 6432 yards at a 71.3 rating and 137 slope, while the ladies' tees measure 4529 yards. Greens are Champion Bermuda, and golfers rate the course 3.89 out of 5 across 18 reviews, one of the strongest marks in our lineup.

★★★★4 or 5. In good shape and enjoyed our round.
★★★Course was nice, fair shape...
★Spacious fairways and greens rolled true. Its a must play for all skill level golfers
★Greens were bad
★★★★Course was great and in good shape.
★★★Check in guy was kind of rude and not real convenient not being able to drive to the range. Course was in good shape and decent pace of play/
★★★Great layout and really fun course to play. The greens were awful though, seemingly having some sort of mixed grass types that caused them to be very bumpy. Also the beverage cart service was non-existent. We teed off at 8:12 on a Saturday morning and didnt see the beverage cart until the 18th hole. That is insane.
★★★★We were the second group off at 812 and the starter made us feel rushed by telling us which TEE to play and to keep a good pace and not fall behind. We played the front nine in 1:55 and then had to wait on the tenth tee for 45 minutes as there were five groups ahead of us
★★★★★Very nice set up. The starters and staff moved a heck of a lot of golfers through the course and smoothly.
★★★★Course was fun and straightforward. It was in pretty good shape and was an enjoyable play. It was the easiest of those we played. The only issue was the amount of people on the course. It took about 5 hours and 15 minutes to finish 18 which was a bit annoying waiting in between shots.
★★★★★Favorite course. Challenging but fair.
★★★I thought the course was in nice shape. did not like the way we were treated in the pro shop. no chance of a replay was disappointing. I wouldn't book legends again.
★★★★★Beautiful course, vary tuff for my game play.
★★★Unfortunately Golf Masters screwed up and did not book it played Parkland twice
