[formidable id=30]Litchfield Country Club was among the initial eight courses built on the Grand Strand (1966). It was also the first course built in the Pawleys Island/Litchfield area. Through the years, the course has maintained its original design of friendly green-side pathways for bump and run approach shots. The mature tree-lined fairways wind amid giant oaks and shimmering lakes from the original rice plantation that it was built on. If you like ‘traditional’ designed courses, you will find Litchfield to your liking.
Great place! nice layout and people!
Greens were in very poor shape.
N/A. Got rained out
Did not play. Rained out
Great Course We hope to play there again soon
Course is in pretty bad shape! Are package averaged $150.00 a round and definitely no worth anything close to that
Very poorly maintained.
Great course and conditions, well stocked pro shop and lunch was good. I always enjoy playing here.
Great, tough
Good Condition
Nice course. Tough target golf layout and overall amenities could use an upgrade. Good conditions in general and greens were solid.
Driving 70 minutes does not make any sense for an inland course, food was crap.
Driving 70 mins for this course was just stupid, there are 20 + courses within 20 mins in that area.
Course in nice shape, greens were great some areas of second cut were in poor condition
very welcoming traditional course. Drained really well after heavy rain.
Good service, welcoming is fine Design is good but field not well groomed
Narrow fairways can use some up keep
just okay
sand was like a rock
If I could give this a 3.5 I would. There's nothing wrong with the course, it just didn't stand out in my eyes. Greens were quick and true so no problem there. I may have been expecting more since it's in Pawleys Island. I've heard all the course there are great. Would I play it again, of course. Are there better courses in MB, yes. Don't let this review steer you away from playing it. It's still a good track.
Good. Not great
Playable, but dry
Fairways cut too close. Overall well maintained.
Greens to slow. Senior tees too long.
Very good.
A fine course. Not in the same condition as others we played. Very small greens.
In
It was nice to see the traditional architecture. The people were very welcoming g. But, the course was not on the same level as the other 4 we played.
Was not well groomed. Was not well staffed. It looked like it was closed. The drop area is not around the entrance.
Greens were horrible
Greens were slow.
Good course to start a trip with.
wasn't in great shape
The worst of the four
lots of fun here!
Not in great condition.
Loved every course we played
Greens were good the rest a little worn out
Course is nit very good.
Nice. Again, the course was cart path only. Why was I not told about this. This has been going for weeks.
Really enjoyed this course and the surrounding scenery. Would play again for sure.
Felt cramped, too many short, dogleg holes. Lots of 3irons off the tees
would not play again. Trees in middle of fairway or block the green on some holes, as you can be penalized for great drives or hitting back into fairway for safe shot to green.
The pits, not very good. Waterin traps not good
This was a phenomenal course and would play this again and again.
Best greens of all the courses we played
Good lay out of holes a little too much water on the fairways overall would play again with no hesitation
