Southcreek is winds through a mix of coastal wetlands and hardwood forests. Of the three courses at the Myrtle Beach National complex, this is certainly the most target oriented golf course. At just over 6400 from the tips, it requires less distance but greater accuracy. Numerous waste areas and well-protected greens place a premium on course management and shot making ability.
First time playing the MBN West course which was in great condition. Played 36 holes on the same day. Lunch was quick and delicious. Would definitely revisit.
The course had MUCH to be desired, not i pressed at all, poor condition on the fairways and whats more concerning, the last review is dated Nov 2021 and shows poor condition THEN on the fairways. If they were bad in November, how are they still bad now in May of 2022? Have they stopped fixing the issues or are the issues too big for this course to handle. Not pleased and they dont seem to care at all. One hole there was a small tractor left near the tee box? C’mon- really?
The course has potential but it was in terrible shape. The back nine was in especially poor shape.
Course was dry with torn up fairways.
Course was burnt out and not in very good condition. Greens weren’t horrible, but overall just average conditions
Front nine was great...back nine not so much
Noce course but not in very good shape. Fairways were dried out. They were putting in a new irrigation system which will improve it
Sprinkler system under repair
Did not like this course, work being done and not in good shape
Nice layout but course was in poor shape. It would have been nice to know about the construction before we booked.
Open and a nice way to start the rounds.
