The Maples is a nice playable course. It has a separate clubhouse from Byrd and Jones course location. Heavily treed with giant oaks and hanging moss line the course. Some large tee to green waste bunkers…with…OOPs…trees in the bunkers. Medium well trapped undulating greens. Putting is key on this course with lots of subtle breaks. Don’t miss the bar. Lot of bets have been settled over a tall cool one here.
A bit better on the greens than Tuesday
Terrible fairways, very slow greens. Maybe the worst course we have played in Myrtle Beach in 28 years.
Course was in horrible shape and stater was lackadaisical in hiss approach to his duties. We will NEVER play this course again.
Better course
Greens were in good shape. Fairways had no grass and burnt grass.
Cart path is in ruff shape The people were great
probably the worst shape of the 3 sea trail courses we played over the weekend.
Fairways were good; however, greens needed work.
Kind of a neglected course, fairways a mess.
Cart paths need attention, badly.
Very enjoyable time. Course played well and pase was good. We had a very good time. All staff were pleasant and friendly.
Overall the course was in pretty good shape. Greens were nice and we could walk to the first tee from our villas.
