The course
The West Course at Myrtle Beach National is an Arnold Palmer design that has been testing Myrtle Beach golfers since 1973. It is a classic par 72 built in the beach style the area is known for.
Arnold Palmer put his name on the West Course in 1973, and the layout still plays the way a traditional beach style course should. ★★★Poorly maintained. Rough and fairway no difference many holes. Seems like all resources went to Kings North. Traps are mostly dirt. You can see the difference on #10 when a kings north hole runs next to. Wouldn’t recommend.
