This 27 hole facility is centrally located at the juncture of US 501 West and the Intracoastal Waterway. The original 18 (the fox and otter nines) were built by Gene Hamm in 1988. The ‘Bear 9’ was added in 1991 by Tom Jackson. The course is on a former nature preserve and has many trees, mounding, bunkers and undulating greens.

The setup for this course was nice. Fairways and greens...
The setup for this course was nice. Fairways and greens were rough. A course diagram on cards would have been nice to see what kind of trouble you were hitting into.

I feel that the golf master does not ask the...
I feel that the golf master does not ask the right question when it comes to abilities and handicaps and should be either pick easier courses to handicaps or suggesting different tee boxes to accommodate yardage and slope according to handicap. It makes it more fun to score close to your handicap.

Course was in much better condition than when I played...
Course was in much better condition than when I played it in 2005. My understanding is that this course is scheduled to close for development in latter 2025.
